All in ones

These are very easy to use, but unfortunately usually quite expensive. They can be the slowest to dry. The waterproof layer is included in the nappy. (see below)

Stuffable nappies are a kind of all-in-one. They have a pocket that you 'stuff' with a terry or prefold, the inner is separate so they dry as quick as other types. Also as they usually have a fleece outer layer the are one of the driest nappies.

Stuffables (or pocket nappies)

easiest cloth nappy to put on, ideal for nursery/childminder           quick drying as inner is seperate         absorbency can be adjusted to suit (prefold, terry, hemp, microfibre)        fleece lined so keeps skin dry                  need to be stuffed before use

Fuzzi Bunz

"If I could afford them, I'd use them all the time" (Miranda La Vey)

Nature Babies Stuffables

These have the same clever two-size fastening as the wraps but have a microfleece inner which forms a pocket which you can "stuff"

"I use nature babies stuffables overnight stuffed with two prefolds instead of one. I've never had any leaks and Hannah's skin is completly dry every morning, I don't like the velcro ones though."(Katie Butcher)

Bearbehinds

Brilliant funky animal print stuffable nappies with velcro fastenings,

"just got a lovely new nappy from Bearbehinds in arctic fox print and a matching nappy bag. The nappy is lovely and the fleece is soooo soft. Delivery was amazingly quick and they even gave me some free wipes for being their first proper customer. I normally use fuzzis but our bearbehinds will be our 'showing off' nappy"

Prefold ........................."stuff" into pocket.........................velcro on.(as seen on Hannah on the home page)

All-In-Ones

easiest cloth nappy to use           no folding                   slow to dry           from around £7.50

Kooshies Ultra

These have a totally waterproof outer and flannelete inner, 2 sizes from birth to potty.

Fold flap............either at the front for a boy............or to the middle for a girl.........lay in paper or fleece liner....

Velcro on.

Comments

"These almost put me off cloth for life!, they almost always leaked . They gave a poor fit around the legs, which is where a lot of the leaks happend. They also have no elastic at the back, so it was hard to get a nice snug fit. The rough plastic outer really irritated my daughters skin where it turned in at the legs. Took ages to dry too" (Sarah)

"I found these really handy, very easy to use. The cover is totally waterproof so they dont get damp, my only grumble is that as they dont have leg gussets they tend to leak runny poo!" (Katie)

Motherease AIO

This nappy has a nice soft outer and fastens using poppers. Unbleached terry inner. I found it a little wide between the legs, but worked well. This nappy can be fastened beforehand and used like a pull-up.
