Terry nappies

Terries are a classic, still surprisingly popular. No pins due to nappi nippas which grip the fabric, no plastic pants either. Terries are very versatile and can be folded in many different ways to suit your baby as they grow, they dry quickly and are also cheap as chips!

Terries or muslins might be great as your first port of call when trying cloth nappies, they are very cheap and if you decide not to use them they have a multitude of other uses. Great as changing mat covers, hand towels, ect. ect.

You can use a funky wrap over the top to bring it up to date, no more rubber pants of old!

Wide selection available classic white, unbleached, organic, bright colours ect. Easily available even on the high street.

dry quickly        cheap (from about £1.60 each)    readily available on the high street      need folding

"I started using terry squares a month ago and I love them"

"Flat terries are really fab, there are loads of different folds to suit your baby and they dry so quickly. Also once baby is older they are really quite a slim fit, not as bulky as a tots for example"

"I started using terries a few weeks ago and think they're great. My DD is nearly eight months and at that crawling, kind of standing, hates to be still, arching back stage! I have found terries to be no more trouble than prefolds or the few poppered shaped nappies I have. In fact I can do the terry quicker than the popper nappies now. I just wish I'd bought more terries earlier on"
